"Nations Forever" is the free and most popular entry in the Trackmania series. These games are pretty straight forward. You have a car, some tracks, and you have to get to the end as quick as possible. It's just a rock-solid, barebones arcade racer with solid driving and a low barrier to entry. All you need is 4 buttons to play!.
Other great features include automatic replays, with a neat replay editor, as well as an intuitive track editor. You can easily share replays and tracks as their filesize is tiny and many do on TM Exchange
